There are sarong tenun poleng from Bali, sarong ulos from North Sumatra, sarong goyor from Jepara, sarong batik from Solo, Yogyakarta, Pekalongan, Madura and many more. Sarong is use in alot of ceremonial event. Its also use in relegious ceremony and divine service in several place in Indonesia. Its very pleasant, cushioned and confortable. Siapa yang tak kenal dengan kawasan wisata Raja Ampat? Siapa yang meragukan keindahannya? Tapi siapa sangka Raja Ampat tak hanya di Papua, Sumbar juga punya ‘Raja Ampat’ nya sendiri.

Adalah Kawasan Wisata Mandeh, yang terletak di Kecamatan Koto XI Taruran dan berbatasan langsung dengan Ibu Kota Provinsi Sumbar, Kota Padang. Jika melihat keindahannya, maka Mandeh layak disebut sebagai Raja Ampat dari Barat.

Kawasan Wisata Mandeh adalah gugusan kepualauan. Nama Mandeh sendiri diambil dari salah satu kampung yang terletak di kawasan tersebut. Tepatnya Kampung Mandeh berada di bagian tengah teluk carocok, Tarusan.

Pada bagian Teluk Carocok inilah terdapat beberapa pulau kecil yang mempesona dengan air laut yang biru dan kehijauan disertai hamparan pasir putih pada pantai-pantainya serta lingkungan yang masih asri dan terjaga.

Beberapa pulau tersebut antara lain Pulau Traju, Pulau Setan Kecil, Pulau Sironjong Kecil dan Besar, selain tentunya Pulau Cubadak yang disana juga terdapat Resort Cubadak Paradiso.

Di bagian selatan, tepatnya di Kampung Carocok terdapat sebuah tanjung yang meliuk mirip kail. Dengan bentuknya tersebut, teluk tersebut terlihat bagaikan danau yang menakjubkan.

Di bagian utara juga terdapat beberapa pulau yaitu Pulau Bintangor, Pulau Marak, Pulau Ular, dan Pulau Pagang yang berdampingan dengan Pulau Sikuai.
